BACKGROUND
I am currently an undergraduate from the Bachelor of Environmental Studies specialising in Environmental Biology. My interests lie in ecology and conservation, especially in the context of marine environments. I hope to contribute to marine conservation efforts in future, be it locally or regionally.
HONOURS PROJECT
My project aims to investigate the environmental drivers of depth-associated distribution of reef corals. This will be done by conducting reef depth environmental and ecological profiling of two prominent reefs in Singapore; Pulau Hantu West and Raffles Lighthouse. It is hoped that the data obtained can give insight into environmental filtering and its influence on vertical distributions across coral species, which in turn could predict their mortality with projected sea level rise in Singapore.
